Boynton Beach is a city in Palm Beach County, Florida (whose motto is "gateway to the Gulf Stream,") is the principal city of the Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach (FL) Metro area. Soon after the Civil War, settlers to this area realized many fruits and vegetables thrived in the fertile climate, and cultivated pineapples, tomatoes, mangoes, and citrus fruit, which were packed in crates and shipped by the ton on the newly-built Florida East Coast Railroad to satisfy the appetites of hungry Americans, nationwide.
Had those farmers been around today, they could have stored their produce in one of five convenient self storage facilities located in Boynton Beach, including Guardian Storage Company-Congress Avenue (3450 South Congress Avenue), south of the city's center at the northwest intersection of South Congress (highway 807) and SW 35th Avenue. Also on South Congress is Public Storage-Congress Avenue, located at 3400 South Congress Avenue, less than two miles west of Interstate 95 and the railroad tracks. Close to Boynton Beach's downtown is Stor All Self Storage-Industrial Avenue located at 400 Industrial Avenue, at the northwest intersection of West Boynton Beach Boulevard (highway 804; NW 2nd Avenue) and Interstate 95.
Located northwest of Boynton Beach is Stor-all Storage-Old Boynton Road (3400 Old Boynton Road), which can be found across the street from the Boynton Beach Mall at the southeast intersection of Knuth and Old Boynton Roads. The fifth self storage facility in Boynton Beach is due west of the city's center at 7358 West Boynton Beach Boulevard, and is called U-store-it-West Boynton Beach Boulevard. It is located at the southeast intersection of Boynton Beach Boulevard (highway 804) and Hagen Ranch Road. One of these five facilities - whether you need to store produce or furniture - is surely close to you!
