Eustis, a city in Lake County, Florida, is part of the Orlando-Kissimmee Metro area. It was named for General Abraham Eustis, who was a prominent figure during the Seminole Wars, in 1825. The city limits are defined by Eudora, Abrams, and CR 44 (bypass) on the east, CR44 to the north and US Hwy 441 to the south. The western part of Eustis is bordered by beautiful Lake Eustis. Local favorite Ferran Park, which graces the shores of Lake Eustis, is the oldest park in the area and offers a wide range of family recreational activities.
